Hanon Harchol is a New York-based filmmaker, animator, artist, public school teacher, and Jewish educator. His animated series, Food For Thought, is a collection of engaging animated conversations between Hanan and his parents that explore Jewish teachings on themes such as forgiveness, love, gratitude, and many others.

The Importance of Happiness During Challenging Times is an animation trilogy that was created with the awareness that the topic may feel difficult or inappropriate for many. And yet, Jewish tradition frequently acknowledges that as a community and as individuals, we often hold more than one emotion at any given moment. In addition, many argue that during challenging times, joy is more important than ever.
